Assignment: Publishing to the Web
Description: Demonstrate the ability to publish on the Web by publishing either your "PowerPoint How To" on the Web. You may use any method or service you choose (i.e., MySpace, YouTube, a Web page, etc.) as long as it is publically available. Assume that you are publishing your project for the on-line use of your class and that students will need to be able to easily access it on their own. Your published presentation should include a title and a description of the presentation. The title and description should clearly communicate to potential viewers the subject of the presentation.
Submission details: After you have published it, e-mail to the instructor the following information: (1) The title of your project (for example, "How to Wash a Car"), (2) a brief description of the project (i.e., This PowerPoint presentation provides instructions for how to efficiently wash your car while being environmentally friendly) and (3) the URL (link) to the location where you published your project.
Due: Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 by Noon (11:59 AM).
Grading Criteria:
1) The presentation is easily accessible on the Web and can be downloaded or viewed on-line without any special software or knowledge.
2) A title and a description of the presentation are clearly visible on the Web page where the presentation is located (i.e. made accessible).
3) The required information is e-mailed to the instructor at the e-mail address given above.
4) The e-mail is mailed (not received) by the due date (the e-mail server header data will be used to determine when you sent it).
